Canada Lynx Moving Into Idaho?

Some potential good news on the Canada Lynx front today. A lynx has been documented in Idaho for the first time in over 15 years when the cat was inadvertently caught in a foot-hold trap in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. A DNA sample was taken before the cat was released unharmed, and future tests will be done to see if it was indeed a wild lynx. Perhaps their population is rebounding and cats are looking for new territories? We can only hope this is the case.
