A Voice For The Wild Cats of the World
To my knowledge, this is the only video footage of a wild Flat-headed Cat in existence. This cat is rarely seen, has never been studied in its native habitat, and it’s not even known exactly where they occur. Science knows next to nothing about Flat-headed Cats. This small, nocturnal, forest dwelling cat is rarely seen by anyone so this photographer was incredibly lucky. This person has commented on the YouTube page that it was shot along the Kinabatangan River in 2008, and was very surprised the cat hung around for as long as it did as they pulled up in a motorized boat.
Kinabatangan River is in Sabah, eastern Malaysia, on the island of Borneo. This is the rarest footage we have ever shown on this blog, and I am completely stunned by this video.
