Sexual maturity in Black-footed Cats is reached at 8-12 months for females, and about 8 months for males. The gestation period is 63-68 days, after which the female gives birth to two 60-90 gram young. Males have no part in raising the kittens, and the kittens remain in their other’s range for some time after becoming independent.
